Early renovations of this mid-terrace property situated in the heart of Liphook, Hampshire uncovered the need to reconfigure the sitting room layout while improving natural daylight and view to the garden. With the whole family enjoying sharing time in the garden and weekend entertaining, bifolding doors seemed the natural choice while providing a more contemporary feel to the rear elevation.
With our extensive knowledge of window and door systems we were able to specify a leading aluminium door system offering some of the slimmest sight-lines on the market to maximise natural daylight and minimise framework. This project was undertaken for one of our own team members and project managed throughout each stage, from initial concept, dealing with local authority permissions to final decoration.
The new layout has transformed the way the room is used and enjoyed by our family and friends, the new bifolding doors look stunning and fold and stack to one side giving us a single access door for ease of use and convenience with our children. It has been a joy working through this project with my colleagues at Sian who have maintained a clean and professional approach throughout every stage.
